The October Surprise refers to the craziness that's going on in the skies.. And around the world, like you might have noticed. All in all, October is going to be a groundbreaking time: we are entering an intense month, filled with changes, unexpected experiences, and ongoing inner work. 

Every year on and around the 8th day of the 8th month of the year (August 8th), there is a peak of energy in the cosmic alignment between the Earth and the star Sirius called “the Lion's Gateway”. The number 8 is a balanced number and relates to the balancing of both the material and spiritual aspects of our experience. It is also the number of KARMA..

As I set myself up to writing this post, I began thinking about butterflies. And what is so beautiful about butterflies, is that even through their struggles, they come out as the most amazing creatures we know. Imagine, just when the catepillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly! You can also become the change! 

The answer to the question everyone is asking — "When will this be over?" — might be simple and obvious, yet extremely hard to accept. The answer is never. This global pandemic will change the way we move, live, learn, and connect. There is simply no way that our lives will resume as if this had never happened. The emotionally and spiritually sane response is to prepare to be forever changed. And many of us are understanding that there is much more to life than just working and we are rediscovering the importance of culture, conversation and contact.
